The Womb Is a Portal
Womb Healing for all women is a critical and essential part of our holistic health, sexual embodiment and collective healing. This space is the gateway to all creation. It is a portal to our power, passion and purpose, birthing human life and holding the energetic power to birth all of our creative projects.
In Tantric tradition, the womb / yoni is the path to the feminine heart. When opened, we have the power to change this world. The awakened womb carries the power to rebirth this world into that of love, aligned with passion and soul, as we move way from the existing matrix based upon fear and control. Everything that women birth – every project, every child – is aligned with the frequency of pure unconditional love and joy.
Disconnection From The Womb
Unfortunately so many women are disconnected from their power. The womb space is a psychic dumping ground for unresolved trauma and suppressed emotions. If a woman is disconnected from herself, this will affect how she interacts with the world, what she is born to create, how she navigates her emotions, how she chooses to live her life, and even how she expresses human relation and intimacy.
The womb governs our subconscious realms and emotional body, so if we are not working along with menstruation consciously, or honoring our natural rhythms and feelings, our womb may become cluttered with suppressed emotions and feelings. Our creations will then either not end up manifesting, or we may end up creating from our wounds/trauma, disconnecting us from our crystal clear intuition and wisdom.
Tantric Feminine Arts teaches that the womb and yoni portals are the most receptive feminine centers. If we aren’t consciously menstruating and self-clearing, we end up not only storing our personal emotions, but also taking on our sexual partners subconscious trauma, affecting our clarity and creative potential.
The immense power that is held within this deep cavern of mystery is truly incredible. The womb holds the vortex of creation, life, birth, death and rebirth. Each month during bleeding, we are literally experiencing a shamanic death and rebirth. We release what no longer serves our true selves in order to emerge anew each month, re-birthing us into our nature. Bleeding is a deep and powerful experience, embodied and experienced within ourselves. The wisdom and intelligence of this process travels beyond any spiritual textbook or concept, as we are directly embodying this process.
Connecting To The Womb
There are many ways in which we can begin to work with connecting to the womb as a source of creativity and wisdom. Unlocking this consciousness begins with bringing our awareness to our powerful portal, and simply feeling its energetic potential.
Below are three powerful ways to anchor into this connection and unlock our wombs as a source of creativity and wisdom:
1. Menstruation Magic
Menstruation Magic is the term I have given for women who consciously menstruate and embrace the magic of her menstruation. This comes with simply understanding what is going on each cycle: physically, emotionally and spiritually. It means working WITH your natural bodily rhythms and not against them. Leveraging your life and relationships, and working WITH your flow vs. hustling and forcing. It involves knowing when your creative energy is at its peak, and therefore scheduling major outward expressions and high energy activities around a specific time of the month. It is acknowledging when your energy is at its most receptive and introspective, therefore allowing for space to retreat and receive any creative ideas, information, messages, and any insights from your higher self that you may carry to benefit your entire life. You can learn more about this by downloading my eBook ‘Menstruation Magic’
2. Awakening Womb Consciousness
It is also very important to unlock the portals of consciousness that reside in this space through self clearing and tantric practices. Through conscious menstruation we are indirectly awakening our consciousness – aka our wisdom and creativity. A simple womb healing meditation upon your own creative center can consist of visualizing yourself clearing out any unwanted energies, or any past lovers, and filling your space up with pure white healing light. Reconnecting yourself to the earth by imagining a beam of light moving from your womb space into the rooted earth will heal any traumas you may carry that surround your own birthing experience and mother’s womb imprints.
3. Jade Egg Practice
If we are unconsciously menstruating, and are unaware of what is going on in our bodies, we are not embodying the life force and creative energy of menstruation.
The Jade Egg practice is an ancient Taoist Tantric practice that works with awakening your sexuality by circulating this energy throughout your body. 40% of a woman’s daily life force energy is used by transforming eggs. So by the time ovulation occurs, the eggs are overflowing with vital energy and packed with life force energy.
One way to help circulate and redistribute this life force energy that is stored in your ovaries, is through the use of a Jade Egg along with the Taoist Tantric breathing technique called ‘Ovarian Breathing’ – which circulates the energy around the body from the ovaries so that it doesn’t become ‘stuck’ and unconsciously lost when you bleed. You can also purchase Jade Eggs from my online shop. Be sure to not apply these techniques while menstruating.
Rebirth Your Inner Feminine
When we move our awareness into our womb center, we naturally begin to release all that is no longer in alignment with our highest feminine expression. As we slowly rebirth our selves as women, embodied expressions of divinity flourish into existence every cycle. Together as sisters we are re-birthing ancient ways of existence, forming a web of awakened wombs on this earth. Womb consciousness is currently becoming a revolution that will heal this world, as we heal ourselves, one womb at a time.
