Imagine
IF ALL WOMEN LIVED RHYTHMICALLY WITH THEIR MENSTRUAL CYCLES.
During ancient times, menstruation was celebrated and cherished as a monthly ritual, yet today it is unfortunately commonly thought of as an unclean menace.
Years ago, it was typical for women to distance themselves from their tribes and anything associated with everyday life during their moon. This separation was used as a natural break to teach and learn from one another, as well as gather collective energies and insights for their community's well being and growth.
Menstruation is not a menace. Let’s learn to love the rhythm of our body.
We are trained to hide our grief during life’s stressful moments. We often mask our feelings with substances like sugar, caffeine, alcohol, media or food rather than turn inward to find the cause of our struggles. Unacknowledged stresses accumulate in our womb area, causing discomfort and imbalance. This can drive us into unhealthy lifestyles and dis-ease, leaving us unable to express ourselves.
Sadly, women are frequently prescribed the Hormonal Birth Control Pill which is further blocking our natural state of mind and depleting our body of the necessary nutrients it requires to experience the organic ‘ebb and flow’ of our cycles. We should find ways to nourish our body and set aside time to love, nurture and care for our tender self during menstruation and times of discomfort.
Women have a beautiful flow of energies throughout each month. This phenomena should be observed, accepted and loved in order for us to fully express ourselves in unique ways. This is ideally done by charting your cycle to get to know your body better.
I am so grateful you are here.
