During ancient times, menstruation was celebrated and cherished as a monthly ritual, yet today it is unfortunately commonly thought of as an unclean menace. Years ago, it was typical for women to distance themselves from their tribes and anything associated with everyday life during their moon. This separation was used as a natural break to teach and learn from one another, as well as gather collective energies and insights for their community's well being and growth.
